Observer registration for the 2019 UNC AMWHO Regional Conference is now open! 

For individuals wishing to attend the speaker events and observe the final plenary (voting process where each resolution and its policies are debated in front of the entire World Health Assembly), committee sessions, and press conferences please complete this form. Observers will not participate in the conference as a delegate. If you wish to register as a delegate, please redirect to the Delegate Registration form.

The conference will take place the weekend of January 25-27, 2019. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided. Observers will be expected to provide their own transportation to the UNC Gillings School of Public Health. If transportation is an issue, please contact us! Parking permits will be available for those who need them to park on campus.
Registration Fees

​Please know that if you don't pay your fee, the form is considered incomplete, and you will be unable to attend/observe. The observer registration fee is $45​.
Cancellation Policy

​Cancellations prior to the following deadlines may receive a partial refund:
  • Before October 21, 2018: fully refundable
  • Before December 16, 2018: 50% of registration fee is refunded
  • Before January 6, 2019: 25% of registration fee is refunded
  • After January 20, 2019: registration fee is nonrefundable

    lodging information
    In order to make the 2019 AMWHO at UNC Regional Conference accessible to students, UNC AMWHO has created a Host-A-Delegate program. This program allows for students travelling from afar to stay with another conference participant on or near UNC campus, without a fee. The Host-A-Delegate program allows for participants to meet other delegates from the conference and save on hotel expenses.

    During the registration process, simply opt-in to participate in the program and we will do our best to match you with a student from Chapel Hill. We will review applicants and hosts after each registration period and inform you of your status in the program. Please keep in mind that we may not be able to accommodate everyone. In such an event, we will assist you in finding affordable hotel accommodation by providing discounts at local hotels.
    Many students from across the nation will be attending this event, and may not have the financial means of providing accommodations within a hotel. If you have any amount of space (i.e. floor space, an extra couch, etc.), and are comfortable with hosting a fellow delegate, please make that known. This is a wonderful opportunity for networking and assisting students from across the country and world in making this opportunity cost-affordable.
